Timber Framing In Catalunya, Spain

Mark Brewer of MGC spent a number of years over in Catalunya and Spain installing the NPTC Chainsaw units and training a number of Instructors and assessors over there.During this time he became good friends with Miguel Casas who was one of the instructors and assessors who lives in a beautiful area at the foothills of the Pyrenees where he bought some land with a breathtaking view. He bought some land with a old ruined house on it which people researched being about 700 - 800 years old.He planned to build and partly restore the ruin using as much of the old house as possible. He invited Dan Franklin of Wooden ways (please see www.woodenways.com UK) to go Catalunya to help him build a timber framed house. The project took 2 years to complete and 2010 Mark Brewer of MGC went over to help in the saw milling of some of the timber for the framing for Dan.
